IPL 2 over, now homecoming

Now, as one storm has subsidized in SA and other one churning waves in Bay of Bengal (Sunderban). Hope, next installment of IPL (2010) happens in homeland so, that we can watch in person. I can remember last year watching match between RR and DC live in SMS Stadium. That was my first experience of watch a nightly match. First reaction was eyes going wide, I never thought that view is so amazing. On TV sets it doesn't look that bright, here colors were in 'high contrast'. We enjoy every bit of that match given the form of RR team last year. Though, I am not disappointed this year also, as there was serious lack of experienced players or you may call them specialists.

So, now T20 World Cup is arriving. As per speculation going round are about Indian Team's current strength and weaknesses. Boys in blue are in amazing form namely Suresh Raina, RP Singh, etcetera. But I doubt that they can replicate the previous heroic performance, as its been like that for years. If they succeed to do so then it will be great. There will Haydens and Gilchrists in others teams also, so our team should prepare well to limit them.

Chucking now, resume l8r.

IPL 2 : reaching finals

The euphoria called IPL is reaching its pinnacle as (point) table is hot. There is still uncertainty about the seat reservations for semis. Yesterday, I got jolted to see Rajasthan Royals (RR) going down against Delhi Daredevils (DD). Being hardcore RR fan its very saddening. It was not that hard as proved by 11th batsman (Munaf Patel). If RR would have happen to win the match then plethora of combinations would have came to picture that we could see in the semis.
Now, hopes are on Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Deccan Chargers (DC) that at least one of them should lose their draw and RR should beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR, which seems quite evident given the performance level of the later). I am crossing my fingers that things go the same way :P
Right now, I am lounging while watching the game between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and KKR. CSK is not as potent as they seems to be with Matthew Hayden on their side. CSK is the only team which showed consistent performance across 2 IPL seasons. I wrote a blog last year when IPL’s inaugural season was about to take off. That snippet was about the investment gone into IPL. At that time I was not aware of new rage that will send temperatures soaring in and out the stadiums.
